Sector Rust V3.0 from the Villainy Ink Enamel series is your perfect choice for creating dark, grainy rust textures. Its signature reductive technique allows you to control the intensity by applying and removing—giving you flexibility in your weathering process.
Deep rust brown tone
A rich, iron oxide rust color that mimics authentic aging on metal parts.
Dark, angular finish
Enhances shading in cracks and crevices for more noticeable grainy details.
Enamel base + reduction technique
Can be mixed and removed with mineral spirits; ideal for building, correcting or refining layers.
Dries matte to chalky
Undiluted it gives a matte, grainy look; diluted droplets subtle, soft shading.
Use Sector Rust undiluted for a powerful corrosion effect, or dilute it with mineral spirits for more subtle rust accents. Shake well before use – a vortex mixer is recommended – to optimally mix the pigment and binder.
