Warhammer Tone Pro Shalaxi Violet 3 is the central midtone within the five-part Shalaxi Violet color range. This bright violet hue is ideal as a primary base color for cloaks, robes, armor details, monster skin, and magical effects.
Midtone of the Shalaxi Violet range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Shalaxi Violet 3 forms the middle of this range, making it excellent as a central base color.
Use Shalaxi Violet 1 and 2 for deeper shadows and then work towards lighter areas and sharp highlights with Shalaxi Violet 4 and 5.
Ideal for fabrics, skin, and magical effects
The violet midtone works excellently for cloaks, robes, and other purple fabrics. Shalaxi Violet 3 is also very useful for demonic or alien skin, armor details, crystals, runes, and magical energy.
As a central color, this shade offers enough saturation to stand out immediately, while leaving plenty of room for both deep shadows and lighter violet highlights.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Shalaxi Violet 3 can be used for basecoating and layering, but also for highlighting, glazing, and drybrushing.
By combining the paint with the other Shalaxi Violet shades, you can build a complete violet color gradient without having to mix different intermediate colors yourself.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Shalaxi Violet 3 as a central base color and work in several thin layers for even coverage. Use Shalaxi Violet 1 and 2 for the shadows and Shalaxi Violet 4 and 5 to further build up the lighter volumes and highlights.
