Warhammer Tone Pro Megaboss Yellow 4 is a lighter yellow-green shade within the five-part Megaboss Yellow color range. This color is ideal for building up initial highlights on weathered armor, fabrics, military color schemes, and natural surfaces.
Lighter shade of the Megaboss Yellow range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five progressive shades. Megaboss Yellow 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Megaboss Yellow 3 midtone.
Use Megaboss Yellow 1 and 2 for deeper shadows, Megaboss Yellow 3 as a base color, and then work toward the highest points with Megaboss Yellow 4 and the lighter Megaboss Yellow 5.
Ideal for muted highlights
The light olive-yellow color works excellently for accentuating armor edges, fabrics, equipment, and other surfaces where a more natural yellow is desired. Megaboss Yellow 4 is also highly useful for moss-like details, weathered scenery, and earthy color schemes.
By applying the color specifically to raised areas, extra contrast is created without the surface losing its muted appearance.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Megaboss Yellow 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be used for glazing and drybrushing.
As a result, the color works both for controlled highlights on miniatures and for quickly accentuating texture on bases and scenery.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Megaboss Yellow 4 in thin layers to raised areas above Megaboss Yellow 3. Use this shade for broader highlights and then work with Megaboss Yellow 5 on the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
