Warhammer Tone Pro Khemri Sands 4 is a light sandy shade within the five-part Khemri Sands color range. This warm ochre brown color is ideal for building initial highlights on sand, fabric, leather, and other earthy surfaces.
Lighter shade of the Khemri Sands range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five increasing shades. Khemri Sands 4 forms the first distinct highlight above the central Khemri Sands 3 midtone.
Use Khemri Sands 1 and 2 for the deeper shadows, Khemri Sands 3 as the base tone, and then work with Khemri Sands 4 and the even lighter Khemri Sands 5 toward the highest points.
Ideal for sand and weathered materials
The light sand color works excellently for desert bases, sandstone, dry earth, and dusty scenery. Additionally, Khemri Sands 4 is suitable for canvas, cloaks, leather, and other natural or weathered materials.
Due to its warm but muted undertone, the color combines well with darker earth tones and lighter beige, cream, and bone colors.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed to allow multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Khemri Sands 4 is suitable for layering and highlighting, but can also be used for drybrushing and glazing.
This allows you to use the same color for both controlled highlights on miniatures and softer accents on bases and scenery.
Use
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Khemri Sands 4 in thin layers on raised areas above Khemri Sands 3. Use the color for broader highlights and then work with Khemri Sands 5 on the sharpest edges and most prominent details.
