Warhammer Tone Pro – Dataslate Grey 2 – 20-102
Series: Warhammer Tone Pro
Type: Acrylic paint for miniatures
Color: Dark neutral grey
Tone: 2 of 5
Volume: 12 ml
Warhammer Tone Pro Dataslate Grey 2 is a dark neutral grey shade within the five-part Dataslate Grey color range. This second shade forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central base color, and is ideal for armor, stone, weapons, vehicles, and industrial scenery.
Second shade of the Dataslate Grey range
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color ranges of five ascending shades. Dataslate Grey 2 is positioned directly above Dataslate Grey 1, making it ideal for building up dark midtones.
Use Dataslate Grey 1 for the deepest shadows and then work towards lighter areas and sharp highlights using Dataslate Grey 3, 4, and 5.
Ideal for armor and stone
The dark neutral grey color works excellently for power armor, weapons, machines, and vehicles. In addition, Dataslate Grey 2 is highly suitable for rocks, ruins, concrete, and urban bases.
Due to its neutral undertone, the color combines easily with both cool and warm color schemes.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color range. Dataslate Grey 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be thinned for glazing and soft transitions.
The paint is also suitable for highlighting and drybrushing, allowing the same shade to be used on both miniatures and terrain or bases.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Dataslate Grey 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Dataslate Grey 1. Then, work with Dataslate Grey 3 through 5 to build up increasingly lighter volumes and highlights.
