Series: Warhammer Tone Pro
Type: Acrylic paint for miniatures
Color: Dark orange
Tone: 2 of 5
Volume: 12 ml
Warhammer Tone Pro Chotek Orange 2 is a dark orange shade within the five-part Chotek Orange color series. This second shade forms the transition between the deepest shadow and the central orange tone and is ideal for building up warm, saturated surfaces.
Second shade of the Chotek Orange series
Warhammer Tone Pro works with color series of five progressive shades. Chotek Orange 2 is positioned directly above Chotek Orange 1, making it suitable for dark midtones and initial lighter layers.
Use Chotek Orange 1 for the deepest shadows and then work with Chotek Orange 3, 4, and 5 toward increasingly lighter orange areas and highlights.
Ideal for armor, fabrics, and flames
This dark orange shade works excellently for power armor, vehicles, shields, cloaks, and heraldry. Chotek Orange 2 is also well-suited for fire, glowing details, and other warm effects.
As a transitional color, this shade helps to smoothly connect deep orange shadows with brighter midtones.
Versatile Tone Pro formula
Warhammer Tone Pro paints are developed for multiple painting techniques within the same color series. Chotek Orange 2 can be used for basecoating and layering, but can also be thinned for glazing and soft color transitions.
The paint is also suitable as a first highlight over a very dark orange base.
Usage
Shake the paint well before use. Apply Chotek Orange 2 as a dark base color or as the first lighter layer over Chotek Orange 1. Then continue working with Chotek Orange 3 through 5 to build up increasingly brighter orange volumes and highlights.
