Éowyn and Merry fight side-by-side during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, where the Shieldmaiden of Rohan reveals her identity as Dernhelm and, together with the brave Hobbit, joins the battle against the armies of Mordor. This set contains both heroes both on foot and together on horseback.

On foot and mounted

The multipart plastic kit builds Éowyn and Merry on foot, plus a mounted version where both ride together on one horse. With the mounted model, Merry can be removed, allowing Éowyn to also be fielded on horseback individually.

On foot, Éowyn carries a sword and shield, and in her mounted version, she is also equipped with a throwing spear. Merry carries the equipment of a Squire of Rohan, complete with sword and shield.

Éowyn or Dernhelm

Both versions of Éowyn offer a choice of head. You can build her with visible blonde hair or with a closed helmet, representing her in her disguise as Dernhelm.

This makes the set particularly suitable for thematic Rohan armies and scenarios centered on the Pelennor Fields, where you can easily choose between different appearances for the character.

Characterful models for Rohan

The combination of Rohirrim armor, chainmail, shields, weapons, and the richly detailed horse offers many opportunities for painters. Green and earthy tones suit Rohan well, while weathered metal, leather, and wood textures can add extra character to the models.

The mounted version also forms a recognizable centerpiece that fits well with Riders of Rohan and other cavalry units.
