As a Layer paint, Ironbreaker is designed to be painted in a controlled manner over a base colour or previous metallic layer. The paint is very suitable for giving metal surfaces more definition, especially on edges, rivets, weapons, chains, shields, engine parts, and armour plates.

Ironbreaker is an excellent match for sci-fi and fantasy miniatures. Use it for swords, axes, firearms, robot parts, vehicles, power armour, mechanical arms, and industrial terrain pieces. Over a dark metallic base, Ironbreaker quickly provides a realistic steel highlight with clear depth.

Combines well with other metallics

This colour works particularly well as a highlight over Leadbelcher or other dark steel and gunmetal shades. For extra sharp accents, you can further lighten small edges or points with a lighter silver colour. Thin the paint slightly and work with multiple thin layers for a neat metallic finish where the sculpted details remain sharply visible.
