On black surfaces, this hue works perfectly as a first highlight before moving on to lighter greys like Dawnstone or Administratum Grey.

This color forms a strong intermediate step between black and mid-grey highlights. For soft transitions, you can apply Eshin Grey thinly over dark base colors; for sharper edge highlights, combine it with Dawnstone or Administratum Grey.
