Citadel Layer: Alaitoc Blue is a rich, medium-blue paint ideal for highlights, bright colour gradients, and lightening dark blue surfaces. The colour has a strong, saturated appearance and works excellently for Aeldari colour schemes, power armour, fabrics, vehicles, lenses, and sci-fi details.

For blue layers and controlled highlights

As a Layer paint, Alaitoc Blue is designed to be painted over a base colour or previous layer. The paint builds up well in thin layers, allowing you to give blue surfaces more brightness and definition without losing details. For example, use it on armour panels, cloaks, robes, helmets, weapons, vehicles, and technical accents.

Strong for Aeldari, sci-fi, and bright schemes

Alaitoc Blue pairs excellently with Aeldari, Space Marines, Tzeentch models, arcane details, plasma effects, and models with a cool or futuristic colour scheme. This shade is also very useful for heraldry, markings, energy lines, and sharp highlights on dark blue armour.

Beautiful to combine with other blue tones

This colour works well as a highlight over darker blue base colours and can be further lightened with Hoeth Blue, Baharroth Blue, or a light bluish-grey tone for sharper accents. Thin the paint slightly and work with multiple thin layers for a clean, matte result where sculpted details remain beautifully visible.
