Citadel Dry: Dawnstone is a neutral grey drybrush paint specifically developed to quickly apply highlights and texture to miniatures. Its medium-light grey tone works excellent for stone, concrete, ruins, weapons, armour, dust, and urban basing details.

For fast grey highlights

As a Dry paint, Dawnstone is intended for drybrushing: take a small amount of paint on a dry brush, wipe most of it off, and then lightly brush over the raised details of the model. The paint primarily catches edges, folds, and relief, quickly making details stand out more clearly without having to highlight each part individually.

Strong for stone, ruins, and weathered surfaces

Dawnstone is ideal for rocks, concrete bases, urban terrain, walls, statues, weapons, and mechanical parts. This colour also works well as a quick highlight on black or dark grey armour, especially for models with many sharp edges or texture.

Useful for speed and texture

This paint particularly shines on models and terrain with a lot of structure, such as ruins, basing material, chainmail, fur, fabric folds, and machine parts. Use it over dark grey or black undercoats for clear definition, or combine it with lighter grey tones for a stronger weathered effect.
