In Feywalkers, the heroes are drawn into a mystery that begins with whispers from the Fey realm. The Fey Spirits sense that something is fundamentally wrong but cannot clearly identify the cause. Around The Reach, Baldurian citizens are struck by a strange illness, after which some wander into the forest in delirium. What returns is no longer human, but a mindless, enraged treant that threatens the surrounding villages.

A high-level 5E adventure full of Fey horror and nature magic

This 5E campaign is designed for characters from level 13 to 15 and offers a strong mix of investigation, perilous forest journeys, Fey mystery, and tough combat. Feywalkers is ideal for groups who love enchanted forests, cursed nature, spiritual warnings, and adventures where the line between the mortal world and the Fey becomes increasingly thin.

The tone is mysterious and menacing: this is not a lighthearted fairy tale adventure, but a story in which illness, transformation, and wild natural forces endanger entire communities.

The Reach and the threat of The Withering Cough

Central to the adventure is the mysterious affliction known as The Withering Cough. This disease seems to affect ordinary citizens, but the consequences are anything but normal. Victims disappear into the forest and return as twisted nature monsters, forcing the heroes not only to fight the symptoms but also to uncover the source of the corruption.

For Dungeon Masters, Feywalkers offers ample room for atmosphere and tension: restless villages, sacred forests, Fey creatures with hidden agendas, infected travelers, and forests that become increasingly hostile as the truth draws closer.

Feywalkers, Nan Thalias, and Baldur

The adventure takes place around The Fey, Nan Thalias, and the kingdom of Baldur, making it a good fit within a larger Tharador campaign. The Feywalkers themselves form a natural bridge between worlds: protectors, guides, and warriors who understand that what happens in the Fey can ultimately tear apart the mortal world as well.

This makes this campaign highly usable as a standalone high-level adventure, but also as an expansion for an existing campaign where Fey magic, elven lore, or an escalating natural disaster needs to play a larger role.
