DM Stash – 5E Campaign: Draconic Hollows
In Draconic Hollows, the heroes are dispatched by the king of Greypeak to the deep chasms of the Donmeir Peaks. A year ago, a hidden dragon lair was discovered there, inhabited by two great dragons, with an abyss below that plunges kilometers into the earth. Now, a small coalition of adventurers and Glanbelian Drow is preparing to descend and discover what lies hidden deep beneath Tharador.
A high-level 5E adventure full of dragons and wondrous depths
This 5E campaign is designed for characters from levels 18 to 20 and offers a compact yet epic one-shot campaign of approximately 4 to 8+ play sessions. Draconic Hollows is ideal for groups who love dragons, underground expeditions, lost worlds, and adventures where the scale immediately feels grand.
Far below the caves of the Drow and Dwarves, but above the falling Dreamplane of Renmaeth, lies a hidden hollow between worlds. Here, dragons have found refuge from the storms, wars, and hunters of the surface. Few mortals have ever seen this place, and even fewer have returned with the truth.
Expedition to a place between worlds
Draconic Hollows is not just about fighting monsters, but also about discovery. The party descends into an unknown system of caves, chasms, and alienly beautiful landscapes where dragon enclaves, forgotten dangers, and hidden wonders await them.
For Dungeon Masters, this adventure offers a strong high-level structure: a clear expedition mission, a mysterious underground setting, and enough threat to seriously challenge even level 18–20 characters. The combination of Greypeak, the Donmeir Peaks, Glanbelian Drow, and the dragon hollow makes this an excellent choice for a spectacular finale or a standalone endgame adventure.
New player option: Way of the Feywild Monk
In addition to the main adventure, Draconic Hollows includes the new Way of the Feywild Monk subclass. This monk uses the energy of the Feywild to combine mobility, nature magic, and supernatural fighting techniques.
The subclass is well-suited for players who want to play a fast, spiritual martial artist with a strong connection to natural forces and extraplanar energy. Even outside this campaign, the Way of the Feywild Monk is useful for characters who move between physical discipline and wild magic.
Set Contents
This 5E campaign includes an 86-page campaign book for characters from levels 18–20. The adventure is designed for approximately 4 to 8+ play sessions, depending on play style, group size, and how much room the Dungeon Master gives for exploration, roleplay, and extra encounters.
In addition, the campaign includes extra play material such as an A2 printable map of Greypeak, 6 original battlemaps for locations in Vanlund and the Hollow, 10 original statblocks for high-level gameplay, 15 magic items, and the new Way of the Feywild Monk subclass.
